The original “Elo” is called “Der kleine blaue Elefant” and is one of the the mascots of a really popular German TV show for children called “Die Sendung mit der Maus”. Many years later he got his own TV show called “Die Sendung mit dem Elefanten” for younger kids. He made his TV debut more than 30 years ago. Most kids in Germany, Austria and Switzerland know him.

Our personal „Elo#1“ joined our family back in 2003, after Carmen found him sitting all alone and frightened in one of the big “special offer baskets” at our local supermarket. Ever since he travels the world with us.

And as a logical consequence, in 2012, he was made the official “mascot” of “Action…” and has his own Twitter / @BlueElofant and Instagram / @BlueElofant accounts.

Over the years quite a few of Elo#1’s cousins invaded the homes of our friends!

After our cute mascot became more and more popular, I decided to give sketching Elos a try. Of course I had a second thought in the back of my head: “If they they work out nicely, perhaps we can raise some money for charity with them?”

As all of the featured “Elos” are hand-drawn they cause no infringement of copyright.

Natürlich ist der ORIGINAL “Elo” der “Kleine blaue Elefant aus der bekannten Kindersendung Die Sendung mit der Maus und der “Sendung mit dem Elefanten”.

Unser „Elo#1“ kam 2003 zu uns, nachdem ihn Carmen aus dem Angebotskorb unseres Penny-Marktes befreit hatte. Ganz alleine und verschreckt war er… das waren noch Zeiten 😉😇 Seit diesem Tag bereist er mit uns die ganze Welt.

Es war also nur logisch, das er 2012 zum offiziellen Maskottchen von „Action…“ gemacht wurde. Jetzt findet man ihn sogar auf Twitter / @BlueElofant und Instagram / @BlueElofant.

Über die Jahre sind immer mehr seiner Cousinen und Cousins bei unseren Freunden auf der ganzen Welt eingezogen.

Nachdem unser Süßer immer populärer wurde, habe ich mir überlegt ihn mal zu zeichnen. Und wenn das gut geht, mit den Entwürfen ein wenig Geld für den Guten Zweck zu verdienen.

Alle aufgeführten „Elos“ sind selbst gezeichnet; verstoßen also gegen kein Copyright.
